IPL 2020 is one of the worst season for Chennai Super Kings and CSK fans. After retirement from international cricket we all fans wanted to watch MS Dhoni agin on the field by hitting huge sixes out of the park. We didn't saw quality performance of Chennai Super Kings as we used to. All is not well for this season of CSK. Two big match winner players ruled out of CSK squad from the beginning.

This year CSK Performance below the avarage. Situation and groud conditions couldn't help CSK for Performance. We accept very few mistakes from CSK but this season CSK made many mistakes like not included Imran Tahir in CSK playing 11, didn't found replacement of Suresh Raina, imperfect team combination.

Unregulated form of Top order

At the beginning Top order of CSK perform well but last 4 match top order of CSK didn't contribute in giving good start or run chase. Shane Watson and Faf Duplesis are experienced players, they know how big franchise Chennai Super Kings is but this hear they both are out of the form accept first 3 matches.

CSK management also tried Sam Curran and Ruturaj Gaikwad in Top order but things are not in favour of CSK in this season. Now CSK looking too aged team this season, hopefully next year we will see all kind nd of changes in Chennai Super Kings.

Poor form of Middle order

After diparture of Suresh Raina middle order of CSK looks like club level team. CSK management did mistake to not found replacement of Raina. Suresh Raina has been coutribute to middle order of CSK from the beginning. He has been face of CSK from the beginning.

The way he keeps the charge of middle order, CSK look like one kf the dominated team of IPL. But this year CSK's middle order is totally failed to perform well. CSK management trying to hide the fact that CSK perform well in the absence of Raina, we all saw the results.

Lack of finishing

MS Dhoni is now 39 years old he has been serving CSK for more than 10 years. No players can be loyal as Dhoni. He is the pillar of CSK or we can say Dhoni is the back bone of Chennai Super Kings. But at this time we can't accept too much from him. We only want to enjoy his presence on the field. MS Dhoni can't help you every match to win, he trying to but conditions of UAE can't be stand by Dhoni. Of course experience matter in performance but age factor also count in MS Dhoni's case.

Now it is the time someone take the role of finishing for CSK. Now its time to takeover role of MS Dhoni to someone else.

Absence of youngster

Chennai Super Kings is most aged team of IPL. Almost all players of CSK are 30 plus. Sam Curran, Dipak Chahar, Ruturaj Gaikwad, Shardul Thakor these are the players are future of CSK.

Next year CSK will buy many new talent because the way this year's performance of experienced players has going to below average. Experience players are not succeed to won match. Even young players are doing well than experienced players this year.

What changes should CSK made in upcoming Seasons

In upcoming seasons Shane Watson will not available for CSK and Imran Tahir will also not sure for upcoming seasons. In upcoming seasons CSK will probably release most of its players as Captain Dhoni stated that their youngsters doesn't have any spark in them.

CSK will probably retain Dhoni, Du plessis, Jadeja, Curran and some other players.

For upcoming Seasons CSK will try take some indian middle order talents who will have abilities of power hitting.

Bowling is not concern for CSK but still they will try to get one or two pace bowlers in auction. CSK also needs promising overseas batsmen with Du Plessis.

If mega auction happens in 2021 then CSK will probably try to get Kane williamson and Suryakumar Yadav as they are powerfull middle order batsmen who can build the inning and can accelerate any time.
