Who knew this man will stay Barcelona till his career end and will lift many trophies with Golden era team. But from last two year, Gerard Pique's career went below his level. His performance goes below-average level. His skill on the field did not come from the last two year when Barcelona needed most. It’s been a decade since the Spanish National team won the world cup and it’s been 5 years since Barcelona won Champion League. So definitely no player can continue his performance 10 year straight.

He retired after 2018 Russia World cup. He announced his retirement before the world cup. But now he felt his career came to an end. He told Media that if Barcelona want another defender in his position than he ready to do that. After all, he is the La Masia product. Koeman told Gerard Pique that he is not included in his plan, and you are ready to take the different decision at this phase of his career.
